SAFETY RECALL
Van Nuys, CA (September 28, 2011) - MGA Entertainment purchased The Little Tikes Company in 2006. MGA and Little Tikes are committed to product quality and product safety for children; and for the past 40 years, most of the Little Tikes products have been made in the USA.
Little Tikes announced today, in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the extension of an August 2009 voluntary recall to replace certain plastic toy nails that may pose a potential choking hazard to young children. The recall is for products that were sold from 1990 to 2004, prior to MGA’s acquisition of The Little Tikes Company. Any products with toy nails sold today by Little Tikes are not affected by this recall.
All of Little Tikes products including those involved in this product recall, conform to and pass the EN 71 safety standards and there have been no reported incidents in this country. However, anyone with questions about this matter may contact our customer services team on 0800 521 558 or by emailing Info.LittleTikes@mgae.com
